본 연구의 목적은 초등 수학 수업에서 교육용 SNS를 활용한 플립드러닝 수업이 학업성취도 및 학습자와 학부모의 플립드러닝 수업에 대한 인식에 어떠한 영향을 주는지 살펴보는 것이다. 연구를 실행하기 위하여 G시에 소재한 초등학교 3학년 2개 반(61명)을 대상으로 실험집단과 비교집단을 선정하였다. 실험집단에 수학 3-가, 나 단계 교과 내용을 재구성하여 플립드러닝 수업방식을 1～2학기 80회에 걸쳐 교실 수업에 적용하였으며, 그 효과를 학업성취도 측면과 학생·학부모의 플립드러닝 수업에 대한 인식조사 측면에서 분석하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, SNS(클래스팅)를 활용한 플립드러닝 초등학교 수학과 수업은 학습자의 학업성취도에 긍정적인 영향을 미친다. 둘째, SNS(클래스팅)를 활용한 플립드러닝 기반 초등학교 수학과 수업은 학습자에게 긍정적 인식을 제공한다. 셋째, SNS(클래스팅)를 활용한 플립드러닝 기반 초등학교 수학과 수업은 학부모에게 긍정적 인식을 제공한다. 이는 교육용 SNS를 활용한 플립드러닝 수업이 학업성취도 향상 및 학생 및 학부모의 인식에 긍정적 영향을 미칠 수 있음을 시사한다. 따라서 교육용 SNS를 활용한 플립드러닝 활성화를 위하여 수업 모형을 개발하고, 사전학습자료 제공 및 학습이력 관리가 가능한 플립드러닝 지원시스템의 필요성을 제안했다는 점에서 의의가 있다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of flipped learning using educational SNS(Classting) in elementary math classes on academic achievements and the perception of learners and parents. Two classes (61 students) were selected as an experimental and a comparison group among the third grades of an elementary school in G city. In the experiment group, the contents of the mathematics 3-Ga, Na level were reconstructed, and the flipped learning method was applied to the classroom lesson over 80 times during the spring and fall semesters. Data were analyzed in terms of academic achievement and the perception of students and parents toward flipped learning classes. The results were as follows. First, the flipped learning based elementary mathematics class using the educational SNS(Classting) contributed to the improvement of the students` academic achievement. Second, students showed positive perception on the flipped learning math class using the educational SNS(Classting). Third, parents also showed positive perception on the flipped learning math class using the educational SNS(Classting). These results imply that the flipped learning class using educational SNS(Classting) may have a positive effect on the academic achievement and on both students and parents` perception on flipped learning using education SNS(Classting). In addition, this study has an implication in that it has developed instructional models for activating flipped learning using educational SNS, and suggested the need for a flipped learning support system that enables provision of pre-class learning materials and management of learning history.
