본 연구는 급증하는 중도입국 학생에 대한 다문화 교육의 실태를 알아보고 문제점을 개선하여 중도입국 학생을 위한 다문화 교육의 효율적인 방안을 도출하고자 하는 목적에서 실시했다. 이를 위해 먼저 선행연구를 고찰하고, 두 번째로 중도입국 학생을 위한 다문화 교육의 현황을 분석했다. 마지막으로 다문화 예비학교, 위탁형 대안학교, 기타 유관기관의 담당자를 대상으로 사례연구와 심층그룹 면접을 통해 효율적 방안을 도출했다. 효율적 방안은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중도입국 학생의 언어문제와 학력 저하로 인한 문제 해결을 위해 통합교육을 기반으로 한 공립학교 설립이 전국적으로 필요하다. 둘째, 정기적인 심리상담교육 시스템을 구축해야 한다. 셋째, 1:1 맞춤형 진로교육이 필요하다. 넷째, 학부모 교육과의 연계 및 공동체 구성이 필요하다. 다섯째, 공교육 편입제고를 위한 네트워크 시스템과 파트너십을 구축해야 한다. 여섯째, 이중 언어강사제도 개선 및 교원 연수가 강화되어야 한다.

This study was conducted to investigate the issue improve the situation of multicultural education for students entering middle soaring in the aim of deriving an efficient way of multicultural education for students entering middle. Prior to this study we examine the first and the second analyzed the situation of multicultural education for students entering middle. Finally, the multicultural pre-school, alternative school consignment type, intended for representatives of other relevant organizations had obtained an efficient way through case study & focus group interviews. Effective methods are as follows. First, a public school founded based on integrated education to solve problems due to language problems and a severe degradation of Education Students are required to enter the country. Second, we should establish a regular psychological counseling education program. Third, there is a need for customized career education. Fourth, there is a need for coordination and activation of parent education. Fifth, the need to build partnerships and network systems for improving public education incorporated. Sixth, bilingual instructors and the teacher training institutions should be strengthened and improved.
