The entertainment industry in the United States has grown rapidly thus far based on digital media and the Internet, and is leading the entertainment industry around the world. Over the past few years, the US digital entertainment market has shifted from the initial VOD download method to the streaming service. This broadcasting of movies and TV programs in the streaming service is called OTT(Over The Top). This is recognized to be a different platform from cable TV, which has supported the American film industry in the past, and is a fusion of the media and the Internet industry. Two biggest companies that are leading the US OTT entertainment industry are Google and Netflix. Both companies introduced a new programming service that analyzes users’ tastes through big data and selects programs with real-time recommendation systems.
