이 연구의 목적은 드러나지 않은 성폭력 가해 남자 대학생의 비율을 알아보고, 선행연구와 이론에서 성폭력 가해자의 특성으로 언급된 변인들을 중심으로 어떤 특성이 드러나지 않은 성폭력 가해자와 비가해자를 상대적으로 잘 구별할 수 있는지를 알아보는 것이다. 수도권과 중부권에 소재한 2개 대 학의 남학생 322명이 연구에 참가하였다. 반응이 불성실하거나 각 척도들 중 하나 혹은 그 이상에서 응답률이 90% 미만에 그친 31명을 제외하고 291명을 대상으로 최종 분석하였다. 이들 중 31.9%는 드러나지 않은 성폭력 가해를 행한 적이 있었다. 분노와 여성성은 드러나지 않은 성폭력 가해자와 비가해자를 구별하는 상대적으로 중요한 특성이었다. 마지막으로 연구의 의의, 제한점, 추후연구를 위한 제언을 하였다.

The purpose of this study was to examine psychological characteristics to differentiate between hidden sexual abusers and non-abusers in university male students. 322 students participated in this study. 291 of them was used in final statistical analysis. Results showed that 31.9% of analyzed participants was identified as hidden sexual abusers. Trait-anger and femininity was identified as psychological characteristics to differentiate between hidden sexual abusers and non-abusers in university male students. Implications are discussed and suggestions for future research are provided
