1990년대 이후 정부의 적극적인 개입에도 불구하고, 학교폭력 문제는 점점 더 심각해지고 있다. 최근 교육과학기술부는 학교폭력 문제의 대안으로 학교체육활동을 강화하고 있다. 그러나 신체활동과 폭력의 관계성 연구 및 신체활동 기반의 운영 모델에 관한 연구는 부재한 상황이다. 이 연구에서는 첫째, 이론적 기초 연구의 일환으로 학교폭력 예방 및 대책을 위한 신체활동 기반 프로그램의 타당성을 밝히고자 한다. 이를 위해 우선 기존 학교폭력 정책 및 프로그램의 한계점을 밝히고 신체활동과 폭력의 논리 및 경험적 증거를 토대로 신체활동 기반 프로그램의 타당성을 논증하고자 한다. 둘째, 이를 기반으로 학교 현장에서 운영 가능한 운영 모델을 개발하고자 한다. 연구 결과, 연구 부문과 정부 부문에서 보고된 학교폭력 프로그램을 분석하여 그 한계성을 밝힌 후, 폭력 문제에 대한 신체활동의 효과를 밝히고, 인과적 관계를 행동 수준(인성 교육 차원), 심리 수준(정서 순화 차원), 그리고 신경 수준(뇌 환경의 변화)에서 제시하였다. 이를 토대로, 일반 학생의 폭력 예방 프로그램, 가해 학생의 교정 및 선도 프로그램, 피해 학생의 치료 프로그램의 설계 및 운영 모델 그리고 수업 실천 프로그램을 제안하였다.
The government intervened in the problem of school violence since the late. However, the problem went from bad to worse gradually. Recently, Ministry of Education, Science an Technology enforced a policy to tighten shool P.E. program as an alternative of school violence. The reseach to examine the relation of physical activity and school violence and a practical operation model was insufficient. Therefore, the purpose of this study is, firstly, to prove the validity of physical activity based program for prevention of school violence. For this, I will present a defect in the violence prevention program to be used in the school, and then I will demonstrate on the validity of activity based program through the theoretical and empirical-positive evidences. Secondly, I will provide an operational model available to practice in the schools. The results are as followings. After I presented four flaws the violence prevention program, I provided the theoretical evidence in the level of behavior (character education), mentality (emotion education), and neuron (brain education), and then provided the results of research to exmine effectivenees of physical activity and educational program (Responsibility program, SPARK program) as empirical evidence. In the baisis of the results, I proposed the operational model of three programs, prevention program for all students, guidance program for delinquent students, program for victimized students. And, I suggested a few future task of research.
