본 연구는 한국 태권도 선수의 열정이 스포츠 정서가 인지된 경기력을 규명하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 연구대상은 2012년 현재 대한태권도협회 산하 경기단체 등록한 남,여 겨루기 선수를 대상으로 자기평가기입법을 이용하여 총 829명을 표본을 추출하였다. 자료처리방법은 SPSS(PASW Statistics) 18.0 for Windows를 사용하여 각 변인의 요인분석, 상관관계분석, 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 다음과 같은 최종결론을 얻을 수 있었다. 첫째, 한국 태권도 선수들의 열정과 스포츠 정서에 대한 관계를 분석한 결과, 열정의 하위요인인 강박열정과 조화열정이 긍정적 정서에 통계적으로 유의한 정적영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 강박열정은 부정적 정서에 통계적으로 유의한 정적영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 한국 태권도 선수들의 열정과 인지된 경기력에 대한 관계를 분석한 결과, 열정의 하위요인인 강박열정과 조화열정은 신체느낌과 정신태도 모두 통계적으로 유의한 정적영향이 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of passion on sport emotion and perceived performance among Korean Taekwondo players. For that purpose, the self-administration method was applied to male and female sparring players registered at sport federations under the influence of Korea Taekwondo Association as of 2012, resulting in a sample of total 829 players. Collected data were put to factor analysis, correlation analysis, and multiple regression analysis with SPSS (PASW Statistics) 18.0 for Windows. Those research efforts led to the following final conclusions: First, relations between Korean Taekwondo players` passion and sport emotion were analyzed. The analysis results show that obsessive and harmonious passion, subfactors of passion, had statistically significant positive effects on positive emotion and that obsessive passion had statistically significant positive effects on negative emotion. Second, relations between Korean Taekwondo players` passion and perceived performance were analyzed. As a result, obsessive and harmonious passion, subfactors of passion, had statistically significant positive effects on bodily feeling and mental attitude.
